woot woot i have gotten the go-ahead from management to replace windows with linux on my company laptop. now i just have to figure out how to integrate with outlook/exchange... why companies use exchange is beyond me.

so now i are the married

really i think i had the most fun on thursday, the night before the wedding, in a vague sort of rehersal dinner. tons of family came along with my two most favorite nephews, and lots of pizza, salad, alcohol, and vegan-safe coffee cake from Blue Nile was consumed while gazing upwards at the milky way from our very own backyard. friday was Teh Day, with leesh kicking me out and making me dress in a stranger's hotel room. after the ceremony  where leesh would not let me kiss her like they do in France  it was off to D-Vine where bruschetta awaited everyone. dinner was amazing as always but leesh thought the fish was spicy and my new brother-in-law thought the cajun shrimp alfredo was spicy. i guess i was too busy consuming mass quantities of crazysweet wine to notice. unfortunately my sister decided to make a speech and i had to threaten the baby police on her. i did not have to threaten any sort of police intervention with my mother's speech however. anyway, then then fudging occurred, and there was much rejoicing. prickly pear fudge ftw!

saturday had last-minute rushings to get a kugle done. lots of coworkers showed up at the house  and were AMAZED at its awesomeness  but were not interested in the bagels, lox, cream cheez, cheezes, and fruits. instead everyone waited for shriram the foodwalla, bringer of palak paneer and makhani kofta goodness. and then there was much rejoicing. i swear it felt like 2 hours but it was more like 5-6. cupcakes and cake from alex the mexican and his wife christy were nummylicious.

we did well on the gift front and my new ring is finding its spot on my finger.

are you an amateur astronomer/astrophotographer?

do you like the idea of automating image aquisition (auto-slewing to a target, finding a suitable guide star, plate solving, exposing LRGB/Ha SII OIII) while you do other things?
